Sculpture at Scenic World delivers an ambitious selection of outdoor sculptures to the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains.

Looking for a reason to get out of town this autumn? If you’re craving a dose of the great outdoors, we’ve found just the exhibition for you. Coming soon to the Blue Mountain’s iconic Scenic World, get ready to experience an awe-inspiring outdoor sculpture exhibition showcasing 29 artworks from artists based locally and abroad.

Sculpture at Scenic World returns in 2020 from April 9th to May 10th, transforming the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains for four weeks of unmissable exhibitions. This annual event, now in its 9th year, is set to be the perfect city escape for Sydneysiders this autumn with plenty of stunning outdoor sculptures to visit and explore.

Grab your walking shoes and get ready to hit the trails of the 2.4km Scenic Walkway. But to access the exhibition, guests will need to venture to the walkway via the world’s steepest train for a gentle descent on the Scenic Cableway. Once you reach the rainforest’s floor punters will be able to explore a world of impressive installations under one of Australia’s oldest rainforest canopies.

This stunning outdoor exhibition weaves its way effortlessly into the natural landscape of Jamison Valley, giving guests an opportunity to get lost in the pristine World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains. In fact, all artworks are installed by trained arborists and art handles to ensure the exhibitions maintains a 0% ecological footprint (something the team have proudly maintained since the annual exhibition first began nearly a decade ago)

Ready to experience this contemporary art exhibition in the heart of one of NSW’s most spectacular ancient rainforests in the Blue Mountains? Tickets (from $44) give guests access to the Scenic Cableway and a full day at Sculpture at Scenic World exhibition and can be purchased online here.
