Ragazzi Explores Emilia-Romagna in Next Avventura Series

Eat / 28 February 2025

Ragazzi Wine + Pasta will continue its Ragazzi Avventura series on Sunday, March 2nd, with a lunch dedicated to the cuisine and wine of Emilia-Romagna.

The event will feature an eight-course menu showcasing the region’s most celebrated dishes, paired with wines selected by Piero Tantini of Godot Wines.

Emilia-Romagna, home to Bologna and some of Italy’s most renowned produce, is the birthplace of Prosciutto di Parma, mortadella, Parmigiano Reggiano, and tagliatelle al ragù. It is also where Tantini himself grew up, and he will be present throughout the lunch to introduce each wine and discuss the region’s winemaking traditions.

Head Chef Gabriel Del Conti has designed a menu that highlights these key ingredients. Dishes will include gnocco fritto with smoked mortadella and fermented chilli, prosciutto di Parma with melon and pickled mustard, tagliatelle al ragù alla Bolognese, tortelli with spinach and ricotta in brodo, veal cotoletta, and Zuppa Inglese.

The meal will be accompanied by five wines that reflect the region’s diverse offering, including its distinctive sparkling and still varieties.

The event will run across two sittings at 12pm and 2.45pm. Tickets are $190 per person, including all food and wine.
