PATRÓN Tequila has introduced its latest release, PATRÓN EL ALTO, to the Australian market, setting a new benchmark for premium tequila.

Crafted from 100% Weber Blue Agave sourced from the highest regions of Jalisco, Mexico, this expertly aged tequila is designed for those who appreciate refined taste and quality craftsmanship.

PATRÓN EL ALTO is primarily composed of Extra Añejo tequila, blended with Añejo and Reposado tequilas aged to their full potential. The result is a smooth, well-balanced profile with notes of figs, honey, caramel, dried fruit, and vanilla. A key element of its production is the use of the traditional Tahona process, where a two-ton volcanic stone crushes baked agave to extract its natural sweetness, a technique that remains rare in the industry.

PATRÓN Master Distiller David Rodriguez and his team conducted over 300 tastings to achieve the final blend. “PATRÓN EL ALTO stays true to our traditional distilling roots while refining the art of aged tequila,” said Rodriguez. “We focused on selecting only the best agave from Jalisco’s highest regions to create a naturally smooth and balanced tequila.”
