PARKROYAL Parramatta Plays Host To An International Seafood Festival This Spring

Six days. One restaurant. One buffet. Dive into a world of reimagined South-East Asian flavours at PARKROYAL Parramatta’s Taste of Asia festival.

The seafood buffet. It’s a staple at every great dining room. And Sydneysiders will need to loosen their belts this October for an unmissable seafood experience, coming to PARKROYAL Parramatta’s TABLE 30 restaurant as part of their Taste of Asia festival from October 15th to 20th. Bringing the buffet to life is internationally acclaimed Singaporean chef and author, Tony Khoo, one of the highly revered members of the Singapore National Culinary Team who has acted as the brains behind the openings of a number of 5-star hotels worldwide. And now, you can sample the best of his culinary prowess right here in Parramatta.

For 6 days only, Khoo will be leading the charge and bringing a curated seafood offering to Sydney diners. With 40 years’ experience under his belt, Khoo is an expert when it comes to curating the ultimate seafood experience. Expect a fresh, locally-sourced Singapore-theme seafood buffet that playfully mixes classic and contemporary South-East Asian tastes. Chef Khoo’s six-day residency will showcase three varying menus, each available from 6pm-9pm Tuesday to Saturday and 12pm-3pm on Sunday, October 20th (and just $79 per person).

Each menu kicks off with a selection of seafood platters, featuring mirin and sake cured ocean troat plus steamed mussels with a fresh coconut lime dressing. Starters aside, you’ll be able to eat your way through everything from succulent BBQ Pork Singapore noodle salads to wok fry chili crab and even piping hot baked sambal fish. Plus, top the experience off with a  pina colada in hand and end with a sweet treat (did someone say mango cheesecake or Chinese custard tarts?)
