Wednesday
It was New Years day and some friends and I went to Milk Beach for a party. Despite knowing there were oysters near the water I thought it’d be awesome to jump in with a giant inflatable whale. Unfortunately my floatie rolled and I cut my bum on oysters in front of 200 people on the beach. Fail. I spent the day getting 5 stitches put in my butt. Great start to the year!
Thursday
Things got a little better the day after with a trip to Matt Moran’s new restaurant North Bondi Fish where North Bondi Italian used to be. I had a few very sweet cocktails (despite my antibiotics – oops) and enjoyed the sun.
Friday
I went back to Bondi to watch hot men in speedos splash around in the pool at Water Polo by the Sea.
Saturday
I caught the ferry over to Man-Town (Manly) with a friend and checked out Merivale’s new restaurant Papi Chulo. It was fun, drank plenty of prosecco by the water and devoured a wagyu burger.
Sunday
Decided despite my doctors recommendation to go for a swim at Little Manly Bay. Bum got wet but was totally fine, it was worth the splash on a hot day. Then went for lunch at Sugar Lounge and had some tasty salt and pepper squid.
Monday
I went to Mr Moustache in Bondi Beach for the second time. I love that place. You can read more about that in my review on Timeout.
Tuesday
Mr Curl Curl and I went for vegetarian Indian at Maya on Cleveland St.
