Make the most of the incoming summer weather with Openair Cinemas.
Forget the cold and dark local cinema, Openair Cinema’s are coming to ten cities across Australia and New Zealand, including, of course, the glorious city of Sydney. Set in Cadigal Green at Sydney University, this cinema experience promises to be more than just a movie and popcorn affair. Taking advantage of the summer vibes, Openair Cinema will be pumping out live music in addition to the popular flicks. From Christmas classics like Love Actually and Elf to the latest releases, Openair Cinema will be fun for families and adults as well as film fanatics.
Sit back on a cosy bean bag and enjoy a film with a thirst quencher in hand. The sunset beverage list is a selection of local and international brews for every type of drinker. 4Pines craft beer and Giesen wine will be giving film buffs a taste of their favourite drinks. If you fancy yourself a little bit fancy then a Piper Champagne may be for you. Openair Cinema have even arranged for their own mixologist to be on sight. Freshly shaken and stirred, grab a straw and hook into a Frosé or Coconut Colada.
You won’t have to sneak in the snacks, the fine food experts from Salt Melts Cheese have curated a menu of dishes to pair with your Openair experience. Salt Melts Cheese signature dishes, including the Truffle Pecorino Pasta, the pasta famed for being made in bowl made of four cheeses, are all on the menu. Over the course of the summer Salt Melts Cheese will also host three pop-up long table, three course dinners to further bolster the movie and dinner experience.
Organised by American Express, AMEX card holders are invited to enjoy a full VIP cinema experience in the American Express Invites Lounge. Cardholders will also save 15% on every ticket and be gifted with a complimentary blanket.
