Forget those dull cafeteria meals. Maybe Sammy are keeping your mid-week lunches interesting with a new food and cocktail menu.
They may have only opened their doors earlier this year, but 1950s-inspired restaurant and bar Maybe Sammy are keeping the lunch game interesting for CBD workers, with a new food and drinks menu. Say goodbye to those uninspired food court meals and hello to refined bagels, sandwiches, salads and more.
The new food menu includes the likes of a decadent croissant filled ($15) with prosciutto san Daniele and truffle butter, teamed with a mushroom salad. Buddying up with the legends at Smoking Gun Bagels, you can curb those midday hunger pangs with bagel combos like salmon, avocado, corn and coriander ($12) and cauliflower, smoked cashew cheese and cacao half ($12).
On the sandwich front, you’ll find a new club sandwich filled with wagyu pastrami, pickled carrots and baby cos ($14) plus a ciabatta roll ($12) with buffalo mozzarella and heirloom tomatoes.
Looking to make your client lunch a boozy affair? A new range of cocktails also have you covered. The Campari Shakerato in patatina ($10) is a must try, made with Campari shaken and strained over chips. For lovers of the classics, you’ll also find the Bellini, Bloody Mary ($18) and a Pimm’s cup ($18).
Not sure whether you need a coffee or a stiff drink? You can have both, thanks to the newly launched ‘cofftail’ range; coffee cocktails designed by coffee connoisseur and bartender Martin Hudak. There’s everything from a classic Irish Coffee ($22) to an Espresso Martiki ($21) made with Plantation pineapple, Mr Black, orgeat and pineapple.
The new lunch menu is available on Thursdays and Fridays from 12pm-3pm.
