Naturellement Festival Returns to the Central Coast

Drink, Eat, Festivals / 3 April 2025

Food and wine lovers, mark your calendars—Naturellement Festival is back this May, bringing a weekend of top-tier drinks, regional flavours, and exclusive dining experiences to the stunning Central Coast.

After a sell-out debut in Newcastle in 2021, the two-day festival will take over the Galleria Ettalong Beach on May 17th and 18th, showcasing more than 120 tastings, masterclasses, and one-off dishes from some of Australia’s most exciting chefs.

The brainchild of Mike Bennie (P&V Merchants) and Kristy Austin (we are neighbourgood.), Naturellement is all about celebrating artisan, natural, and small-batch producers. More than 30 winemakers, brewers, and distillers will be pouring across the weekend, including SABI-WABI, Majama Wines, Harkham, Ten Minutes by Tractor, Jilly Wine Co., and Meredith by Mem. And for those looking to deep-dive into the craft, Sydney importers Giorgio de Maria and Andrew Guard will be on hand to share their finest international finds.

On the food front, expect big names and bold flavours. Culinary heavyweights Alanna Sapwell-Stone (The Eltham Hotel), Matt Stone (Ciao Mate, You Beauty), and Jake Kellie (Arkhe) are leading the charge, teaming up with a stellar lineup of regional talent including Nico Coccia (El Bulli), John Ralley (Textbook Patisserie), Cameron Cansdell (Saddles Mount White), Joshua Mason (Atelier Crenn), Ash Cotter (Valentina), and Ryde Pennefather (Bar Superette). Expect fire-driven feasts, hyper-local dishes, and exclusive bites available only at Naturellement.

But it’s not just about eating and drinking. Festivalgoers can join Plumm masterclasses on everything from Amber and Orange Wine 101 to Wild Food & Wild Wine with Bennie and Ralley, or sit in on thought-provoking talks featuring Matilda Brown and Scott Gooding (My Kitchen Rules) discussing sustainability, regenerative farming, and the future of Australian food.

“We’re so excited to be back,” says Austin. “The Central Coast is special to both of us—it’s home. And it’s the perfect place to showcase the incredible work of smaller producers who champion sustainability, creativity, and regional identity.”

Bennie adds, “This isn’t your typical wine festival—it’s a chance to introduce Australians to the brilliant food and drink coming out of NSW and the ACT. Why shouldn’t regional centres like the Central Coast have a festival that puts them on the map?”

Early bird tickets ($55) include entry to one of four sessions, unlimited tastings, a Plumm wine glass, and access to the talks program. Masterclass tickets are available for $20.
