A free festival dedicated to Espresso Martinis is coming to the Northern Beaches this weekend

Drink, Sydney / 2 December 2019

The team at Mr Black is hosting Australia’s original festival dedicated to everyone’s favourite coffee cocktail, the Espresso Martini.

It’s a drink that brings together the best of both worlds. Combining the punchy flavours of vodka with the rich, smooth taste of espresso and coffee liqueur, an Espresso Martini is always a good idea. And this weekend, the crew behind Australia’s iconic coffee roastery and distillery Mr Black are bringing a festival dedicated to this epic cocktail to Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

The Mr Black Espresso Martini Festival arrives at The Park Hosue Mona Vale for a 3-day celebration of Australia’s favourite coffee-made cocktail. From December 6th to 8th, this free event is set to deliver an epic dose of espresso-charged fun with caffeinated beverages, taco trucks, wood-fired pizzas, live music and even espresso martini gelato for those looking for a boozy affogato.

Punters will be treated to the Mr Black Coffee Cart as part of this weekend of festivities, serving up expertly crafted coffee flavoured cocktails. Sample everything from classic espresso martinis to caramel Koala-tinis, all showcasing Mr Black’s bold, balanced and unapologetically coffee-forward spirits. The Mr Black team have been crafting specialty coffee spirits, on a mission to take Australia’s coffee culture into the night with bottles made for discerning coffee drinkers around the globe.

The Mr Black Espresso Martini Festival will also play host to a series of VIP Masterclasses ($25 per person) for those looking to learn more about this classic cocktail. Purchase a VIP pass and immerse yourself in an intimate cocktail making session with one of Mr Black’s expert Brand Ambassadors. Score your first drink free and learn how to create and share the perfect Espresso Martini to impress your next cocktail party guests.

To set the mood for the day, The Park House has curated the perfect entertainment line up to say cheers to the weekend. From local acts including Marvell, Drey Rollan and Jesse Redwing, get ready to boogie with a cocktail in hand thanks to these live acts. Plus, make sure to nab an espresso martini gelato from Mr Goaty as well as tacos and wood-fired pizza from the kitchen available all weekend long.
