Praise Cheezus! Mould, a festival completely dedicated to all things cheesy is landing in Sydney.
After taking Melbournians by storm, Mould, a festival dedicated to all things stinky, gooey and a little bit funky, is coming to Sydney in September. The team behind the highly popular vino event Pinot Palooza are pairing up with award-winning Milk. Made author and cheesemaker Nick Haddow of Bruny Island Cheese Co.
This special one day event will be hosted at Carriageworks, giving lovers of all things cheese (aren’t we all?) the chance to talk to some of Australia’s top artisan producers and sample their cheeses. You can also expect a series of bonus demonstrations, conversations and masterclasses.
Alongside the best Australian cheeses, punters can also expect a range of cheesy dishes, alongside other vendors selling breads and burgers – everything you need to get you through the day.
What makes an ideal pairing with cheese, you might ask? Wine, naturally. To drink alongside all the cheeses available, there will be wines, plus whisky, beer and cider. Everything at the bar will be perfectly matched to the tastings.
Tickets are just $40pp and include a glass of wine (and wine glass to keep), as well as all cheese tastings. Additional drinks can be purchased from the bar on the day. To purchase your ticket to the Sydney event, click here.
Before arriving to Sydney, Mould will first be returning to North Melbourne on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th May at the Meat Market. For more information on this event, you can hop on the official website here
