Save the date, the oh-so-popular Mould Cheese Festival is coming back to Sydney this autumn.
After a sell-out year in 2019 (and a short break in 2021), Mould, the festival dedicated to all things stinky, gooey and a little bit funky, is returning to Sydney in May 2021.
Presented by REVEL (the team behind Pinot Palooza) in collaboration with Nick Haddow and the team from Bruny Island Cheese Co. The two-day event is giving lovers of all things cheese the chance to talk to some of Australia’s top artisan producers and sample their cheeses.
For Sydneysiders, the festival runs from May 21st to 22nd 2021 at the iconic Carriageworks precinct. Uniting the best producers from across the country, expect a weekend of cheese, wine, masterclasses and so much more.
While the full line-up is yet to be announced, we do know that Mould Festival 2021 will feature more cheese, more producers, and more sessions than ever before.
From crumbly cheddar to gooey camembert, expect some of the best artisan producers as well as tastings, conversations, demonstrations, and more.
What makes an ideal pairing with cheese, you might ask? Wine, naturally. Over the course of the weekend, you can expect flowing wines, plus whisky, beer, and cider. Everything at the bar will be perfectly matched to the tastings.
Tickets are just $48.62pp + BF and include all cheese tastings and a take-home wine glass, with drinks plus other cheesy dishes available for purchase on the day.
