The famous Bali beach club is landing in Bondi for one-day-only.
Dreaming of spending your summer on the sands of Seminyak? While a trip to Bali is sadly still off the cards, one of the country’s favourite bars is making a guest appearance right here in Sydney. The catch? It’ll only be around for one-day-only.
Motel Mexicola is coming to Bondi Beach Public Bar for an exclusive pop-up event this November. Get ready for a celebration of all the things that make Mexicola the most famous bar and restaurant in Bali. Expect the tastes, sights, and sounds of Mexicola to land in Bondi, including margaritas, tacos, tostadas, and even the bar’s famous soundtrack.
Bondi Beach Public Bar is paying tribute to this epic Bali destination, a homage to carefree and effortless Bali holidays that many Sydneysiders have come to love. “None of us can travel right now, we miss traveling, we miss Bali, so we wanted to bring the best slice of Bali to Bondi,” tells Andy Ruwald, Owner Motel Mexicola and Bondi Beach Public Bar.
Head to Bondi Beach Public Bar on Saturday, November 14th to be transported to Mexicola with endless food, drinks, music, and entertainment. There are two sessions to attend on the day: the first kicking off at midday and the second at 2 pm.
Sit back and relax as you’re treated to an endless supply of tacos and margaritas. They’ll be plenty of guac and chips, street corn, and DIY tacos (including fillings of lamb barbacoa, al pastor Pescado, and tonnes of sides). Plus, you’ll be able to sip your way through endless classic margaritas, chili margaritas, frozen margaritas, Micheladas, and sangria.
Mexicola’s takeover of Bondi Beach Public Bar is taking place on Saturday, November 14th. Tickets ($75 pp) include 2 hours of a Taco Feast and Endless Margaritas. Tickets can be purchased online and bookings are essential.
