They’ve been smoking up a storm for the last three years at the Sydney Showgrounds, and now in 2019 Meatstock promises another smoked meats and music fuelled extravaganza.

Running from 4th-5th May, punters can expect some big names in barbecue, including Chef Tom Jackson and Big Moe Cason, skilled pit-masters hailing all the way from the United States.

Be sure to come wearing your stretchy pants, with Rangers Texas BBQ, Black Bear BBQ, Burn City Smokers, Bovine + Swine, La Boca plus others making coveted appearances across the weekend. To wash down all that meaty goodness, craft beer from Yaks Ales will be flowing all weekend long.

An epically proportioned barbecue competition will also see over 50 teams from Australia battling out, with over $12,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs. Not only that, over 20 butchers from around the world will also be going head to head to win ‘Sydney’s best butcher’ award.
