Australia’s premier international cocktail event, Maybe Cocktail Festival, returns from 7th–13th April, bringing an exceptional roster of world-class bartenders to some of Sydney’s most renowned cocktail bars.

This year, the festival will showcase 20 top-tier bars from across the globe, including seven from The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024 list. Featured establishments include #9 Zest (Seoul), #10 Paradiso (Barcelona), #13 Connaught Bar (London), #22 CoChinChina (Buenos Aires), #29 Satan’s Whiskers (London), #38 Moebius (Milan), and #46 Florería Atlántico (Buenos Aires), alongside standout venues from 50 Best Bars Asia and North America, as well as bars ranked in the Top 500 Bars list.

Spanning over seven days, Maybe Cocktail Festival will offer more than 25 events, where attendees can indulge in signature cocktails, exclusive collaborations, and unparalleled hospitality at iconic Sydney locations, including Maybe Sammy (The Rocks), El Primo Sanchez (Paddington), Whisky Thief (CBD), Dean & Nancy on 22 (CBD), Little Cooler (CBD), and a wrap party at Hacienda (Circular Quay). The festival will also feature late-night events, providing a unique opportunity for night owls to experience world-class cocktails well into the early hours.

This year’s festival is particularly significant as it marks the largest female-led lineup in its history, with more female bartenders participating than ever before. Festival-goers will have the opportunity to experience exceptional cocktails from some of the world’s top cocktail destinations, including agave-driven creations from Mexico City’s finest bars, precision mixology from New York, and innovative concoctions from Singapore. Whether it’s London’s iconic classics, Buenos Aires’ bold innovations, or Seoul’s cutting-edge drinks, the festival offers an exclusive opportunity to explore global cocktail culture without leaving Sydney.

Stefano Catino, Festival Director, shared his excitement: “In its third year, Maybe Cocktail Festival has become an essential event for cocktail enthusiasts, and we are proud to welcome some of the world’s most renowned bars to Sydney. These bartenders are not only showcasing their exceptional skills but also the distinctive hospitality that has earned their bars global recognition. We are particularly excited to highlight the remarkable women bartenders in this year’s lineup.”

Cocktail tokens will be available for $50 for two, providing guests with access to a curated selection of drinks crafted by the visiting bartenders.

For those looking to make the most of the festival experience, Accor is offering an exclusive accommodation deal. Use the promo code MAYBE when booking at any participating Accor property in Sydney from 7–13 April 2025, and receive a 15% discount on your room rate. Maybe Cocktail Festival 2025 promises to be an unmissable event, bringing together the best of global cocktail culture in the heart of Sydney.
