For a standout experience, don’t miss the Lunar Feast with Luke Nguyen at Fat Noodle on Tuesday, February 4th. Renowned chef Luke Nguyen will host an exclusive six-course dinner celebrating the rich traditions and flavors of the season. Guests will enjoy dishes symbolising prosperity, fortune, and happiness, including: steamed blue spotted coral trout with lobster bisque and a decadent Vietnamese coffee bavarois. This one-night-only event is priced at $128 per person.
Afternoon Tea at Capella, Circular Quay
Celebrate the Year of the Snake in style with Capella Sydney’s exclusive Lunar New Year Afternoon Tea at Aperture. Crafted by Head Pastry Chef Arthur Carré, this limited-edition menu blends the elegance of oriental flavors with a uniquely Australian twist. Available from January 28th to February 16th, the menu showcases exquisite creations, including the soon-to-be-iconic mandarin lamington, alongside a selection of delicate pastries and savory bites. Whether you’re marking the Lunar New Year with friends or indulging in a solo treat, this afternoon tea offers a refined and delicious way to honor the season.
Lunar New Year at Lana, CBD
Lana is marking Lunar New Year with its Prosperity Menu, a $188 multi-course offering available from January 29th to February 15th. Executive Chef Alex Wong has crafted a menu designed for abundance and togetherness, starting with refined snacks such as marinated scampi crackers with yuzu and green mango, scallop “silk” with nduja XO, and a sea urchin-topped spring onion piadina. The celebration continues with dishes like ORA King salmon “prosperity salad” and spanner crab capelli d’angelo with black pepper and truffle.
