For the first time in three years, Laneway Festival is set to take place in its new home of Sydney Showground this summer, showcasing a show-stopping lineup of Laneway-exclusive sets from HAIM, Joji and more.

Celebrating its 18th birthday, Laneway ‘23 is set to be a big one. The festival will grace Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth with its presence in February 2023, with a shake-up to the roster of outdoor venues that usually plays host to the festival. 

The blockbuster lineup is peppered with international talent, including Laneway-exclusive performances from; the world’s pre-eminent sibling indie-rock band – Haim, who’ll be sporting their first Australian performance since 2017; American folk-rock-pop singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers (‘Motion Sickness’, ‘Kyoto); and Irish post-punk band Fontaines D.C. who released their third album ‘Skinty Fia’ earlier this year.

The 2023 rendition of Laneway Festival will be the first since the relaxation of covid restrictions in Australia, and we’re expecting big things. To experience the festival in its full splendour without the queues and with a little extra luxe, check out the VIP tickets. The $99 VIP upgrade includes; VIP entry lanes at the main festival entrance; exclusive access to a dedicated VIP area; dedicated bars inclusive of VIP cocktails; access to exclusive food offerings inside VIP area; $25 merch voucher to be used on Laneway Festival merch; fancy bathrooms; chill out areas with shade and seating; and a stage viewing platform (city-dependent).
