Kings Cross Hotel's 'Visiting Hours'

Cool Sh*t, Film & Art, Play, Sydney / 8 June 2016

They only offer late ‘Visiting Hours’ at Kings Cross Hotel

The immersive theatrical experience at Kings Cross Hotel ‘Visiting Hours’ presented by bAKEHOUSE Theatre Company will be held for the next two weekends, after dark (from 6pm onwards). Inspired by immersive theatrical experiences such as Sleep No More in New York, this is a unique, new theatre experience for Sydney.
Strictly an 18+ event, the hotel will be transformed into an old, enigmatic hospital with ghosts and fragments of history re-imagined. Late on June 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th, you can enter the time warp that will take you through twists and turns as you explore a world full of forgotten places.
Running for approximately 75 minutes, you’ll be engrossed by different rooms and floors of hidden horrors, leaving audiences in awe. As a part of Vivid, with lights done by Richard Neville and Mandylights, it is sure to surprise.
After you’ve experienced all of ‘Visiting Hours’ you can head down to the bar for a drink, we’re sure you’re going to need it. Then head out and enjoy the rest of Vivid around Sydney, including Central Park and Circular Quay.
Kings Cross Hotel are also hosting a Cabaret event over eight nights during Vivid. The Red Room will transform into an intimate, plush jungle where visitors will laugh and cry with performers including Jeff Duff, Cabaret Sasquatch, Betty Grumble, Zsa Zsa La Fine and more.
So if you want to know what all the fuss is about, we guess you’ll have to go and check it out for yourself.
