Australia’s most elite game of mini-golf has arrived.
Holey Moley Open, a national tournament celebrating skill, precision, and putting under pressure is launching this February. And with a $20,000 cash prize up for grabs, it’s time to choose your team, perfect that short game, and aim for mini-golf greatness.
Brought to you by Holey Moley, the chain responsible for making putt-putt cool again, the competition is open to anyone 18+ who reckons they have what it takes. To enter, assemble a team of four and sign up online between 1st-12th February. From there, 25 teams in each state will be selected to battle it out in the State Finals on February 25th, navigating the brand’s signature pop-culture-inspired obstacles with as much skill (or luck) as they can. The ultimate goal? Sink the lowest combined score and secure a spot in the grand finale.
And this isn’t just any old mini-golf showdown. The finalists from each state will be flown to Sydney, with flights and accommodation covered, to compete in the March 11th grand finale at Holey Moley Darlinghurst. Expect theatrics worthy of a major sporting event: a string quartet on arrival, champagne, party pies, gourmet sausage rolls, and official caddies collecting golf balls like this is the Masters. And, to keep things entertaining, Hello Sport’s Tom Birmingham and Eddy Simpson will be calling the shots with “unqualified opinions and unwavering bias.”
