Punters have every incentive to get vaccinated with 250 cases of refreshing lager up for grabs!

The NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian doesn’t often have good news for us (no fault of her own), but last Sunday she gave us a smidgen of hope. Gladys announced that Sydneysiders will be set free from lockdown on August 28 pending that 40 per cent of NSW residents are vaccinated – HUGE!

With 20 per cent of NSW residents currently vaccinated, our lockdown-free dreams don’t seem too far out of reach. If taking a vacation down the coast, dining at your favourite restaurants or simply drinking a frothy at the local pub with your mates isn’t enough of an incentive, Hawke’s Brewing Co is giving you different motivations. The team at Hawke’s have decided to give away 250 cases of Marrickville’s finest lager to anyone who gets the jab in Sydney.
“It seems the onus is on us to get ourselves out of this mess. And let’s be honest, there’s nothing like free beer to get Aussies going. We may not move the needle much with 250 slabs, but we can do our bit by helping to strengthen the message – roll your sleeve up for yourself, your loved ones, your community and your country.”, said Hawke’s co-founder David Gibson.

So how do you score your slab? It’s as easy as booking in to get your first jab. Once you’ve had your first vaccine dose, post a photo of your band-aided arm on Instagram and tag @hawkesbrewingco and #jabandslab. If you’re one of the first 250 legends to post, Hawke’s will reach out for proof of vaccination and arrange your delivery.

The offer is available to residers of Greater Sydney who get their vaccination from August 4.
