Garage Sale Trail is back this Saturday 25th October. From what started out as a small local sale in Bondi is now a national program that is all about sustainability, community and commerce. It is a non-profit organisation that organises communities around Australia to hold garage sales in order to encourage reuse of items and enable neighbourly connections.

This year over 1.5 million items are expected to be listed for reuse and an average of 13 new connections per participant created. Anyone can get involved including individuals, households, local businesses, schools, community groups, makers, creators, cultural institutions and charities.

So let the spring clean begin and register a sale. Or look for treasures in your neighbourhood.
