Felons Brewing Co. is launching Felons Barrel Room at Manly Wharf, a 700-capacity cultural hub combining an on-site microbrewery with a serious live music program.
The venue kicks off with a free three-day summer concert series featuring Winston Surfshirt on Friday 5th December, legendary Aussie band Mental As Anything on Saturday, and a Club Sweat dance party with Yolanda Be Cool on Sunday.
The space is lined with over 100 French oak barrels used to age beers brewed on-site in a custom-built, steam-powered brewery. Try the Barrel-Aged Crisp Lager, matured for six weeks in Starward Whisky barrels and poured directly from 3600L tanks. Australian-Vietnamese chef Bao La and Ty Bellingham have developed a vibrant Vietnamese menu designed to pair with the barrel-aged brews.
Beyond the launch weekend, expect an ongoing lineup of local and emerging talent, plus brewery tours and tastings showcasing Manly-exclusive seasonal beers.
