Zen Sessions at Pullman Quay

We’re all for having more zen in our lives in 2019. Thankfully, Pullman Quay’s Zen Sessions have returned for another year, giving you the chance to perform your best downward dog with stunning views of Sydney Harbour and the Harbour Bridge in the background. Taught by expert instructors, classes focus on a combination of dynamic flow and slow flow yoga and are open to everyone at all levels and abilities. Sugar Republic Dessert Museum

After taking Melburnians by storm in June 2018 and Brisbane locals more recently, Sydneysiders are now getting a taste of the sugary action with a pop-up museum totally dedicated to desserts. Aptly titled Sugar Republic, this dessert museum will land in Sydney from 10th February – 20th May, setting up shop at MYER Sydney. Head in for an adults-only ball pit, fairy floss room, human size gum ball machine and plenty more.

Shakesbeer Sessions at the local pub

A new theatre company, Bar’d Work, is now launching Shakespeare in some of Sydney’s best local pubs. Aptly titled ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ as a part of the inaugural Shakesbeer Sessions, you can expect fast and funny 90-minute Shakespeare performances, all the time with a cold beer in hand. This month, head to The Forresters Hotel, The Shakey in Surry Hills and Newtown’s The Bank Hotel to catch these unique, comedic performances.
