The Jungle Collective: Indoor Plant House Party

Sydney’s popular indoor plant sale bonanza is back in 2019, this time setting up shop in St Peters. The two-day sale, running from 23rd-24th February, sees over 170 varieties of indoor plants up for grabs. Zen Sessions at Pullman Quay

We’re all for having more zen in our lives in 2019. Thankfully, Pullman Quay’s Zen Sessions have returned for another year, giving you the chance to perform your best downward dog with stunning views of Sydney Harbour and the Harbour Bridge in the background. Taught by expert instructors, classes focus on a combination of dynamic flow and slow flow yoga and are open to everyone at all levels and abilities. Sugar Republic Dessert Museum

After taking Melburnians by storm in June 2018 and Brisbane locals more recently, Sydneysiders are now getting a taste of the sugary action with a pop-up museum totally dedicated to desserts. Aptly titled Sugar Republic, this dessert museum will land in Sydney from 10th February – 20th May, setting up shop at MYER Sydney. Head in for an adults-only ball pit, fairy floss room, human size gum ball machine and plenty more.

The Fernery Pink Gin Dinner – Thursday 28th February

The Fernery, known for its lush greenery and Parisian-inspired interior, is inviting you to a special Pink Gin Dinner this month. Barangaroo House 1st Birthday Party

Barangaroo House is throwing a 1st birthday party so big that it’s had to devote an entire week to it! Kicking off on Friday 15th February, the three-level harbourside venue is getting set to host seven days of giveaways, decorations, music and entertainment. With National Margarita Day just around the corner (Friday 22nd Feb), Rockpool Dining Group’s Bar Patron and El Camino Cantina are celebrating with a line-up of tempting, tequila-infused offerings. Head to Bar Patron for half price $10 classic margaritas all day on Friday 22nd Feb. Each restaurant is also honouring National Margarita Day with a special Golden Rita ($15). Shakesbeer Sessions at the local pub

A new theatre company, Bar’d Work, is now launching Shakespeare in some of Sydney’s best local pubs. Aptly titled ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ as a part of the inaugural Shakesbeer Sessions, you can expect fast and funny 90-minute Shakespeare performances, all the time with a cold beer in hand. This month, head to The Forresters Hotel, The Shakey in Surry Hills and Newtown’s The Bank Hotel to catch these unique, comedic performances.
