Electrolux Appetite for Excellence Whet Your Appetite Dinner

Electrolux recently showcased Australia’s bright young things in the kitchen and on the floor with a taste of their Appetite for Excellence Award finalists at the Whet Your Appetite showcase dinner. The night was a celebration of the next generation of Australian culinary elite, dipping in the generous pool of talented hospitality professionals bothfront and back of house. Three national finalists of the 2012 Electrolux Australian Young Chef Awards prepared an inventive and unusual feast for guests, young chefs Jay Lee (Mosaic Restaurant), Matthew Bugeja (Becasse) and Sarah Knights (Uccello) surprising and impressing the diners through each course.
Not to be forgotten, good service often goes unappreciated in light of good food, we were served by the knowledgable and charming Electrolux Young Waiters Award Finalists, Alexander Tuckett (Pilu at Freshwater), Anthony Moore (Bentley Restaurant & Bar), Christopher Rose (Glass Brasserie), James Audas (BLACK by Ezard) and James Sexton (Oscillate Wildly). The collaboration of impeccable service and young talent in the kitchen indeed produced a memorable night for all. Check out the photos!
