On Wednesday, June 25th, the original crew behind the award-winning venue will take over Maydanoz in the heart of the city, reigniting the soulful dishes and signature hospitality that made it a cult favourite. From nostalgic classics to a few daring extras, this one-off dinner is a must-book for Sydney food lovers.
Led by renowned chef Fatih Tutak and the OG front-of-house team, the $78 set menu celebrates Efendy’s “greatest hits”. Think warm stone-baked bread with buffalo kaymak and lavender honey, eggplant begendi topped with tender braised beef cheek, and the famed “Turkish Mess”. The optional prawn kadayif is back too, along with adventurous add-ons like lamb testicles and liver for those who dare.
