Make Your Own Gin At Distillery Botanica Central Coast

Drink / 29 November 2024

Award-winning Distillery Botanica is immersing guests in the art of distilling this summer.

For gin enthusiasts and curious foodies, Distillery Botanica on the Central Coast is worth a visit. This summer, it’s taking its offerings to a whole new level with hands-on workshops and indulgent tastings.

The standout experience? Distil Your Own Gin Workshops, held every weekend. For $180pp, you’ll spend 2–2.5 hours creating your very own gin. Under the guidance of expert distillers, you’ll select botanicals from the distillery’s lush gardens, then use individual copper stills to craft a spirit that’s entirely yours. Distillery Botanica’s gin garden offers a host of other sensory experiences – try their new G&T paddle ($25) or a trio of seasonal half-serve gin and tonics or liqueurs, perfectly paired with garnishes and tasting notes. And add a cheese platter featuring a gin cheddar from local producer Little Creek Cheese for just $10 more.

This summer also brings limited-edition creations from master distiller Philip Moore, including the Tayberry Liqueur, made with Tasmanian Tayberries for a zesty, sweet burst of flavour, and the festive We Three Kings Christmas Gin, infused with Christmas pudding spices and flecked with edible gold.

Nestled in the former Fragrant Garden at Erina, Distillery Botanica is the perfect escape. Open Wednesday to Sunday, from 11am to 4pm, it’s a chance to enjoy immersive experiences surrounded by lush greenery. Whether you’re crafting your own gin, indulging in tastings, or simply soaking up the rays in their beautiful garden, Distillery Botanica promises a one-of-a-kind outing this summer.

Book your visit or workshop at Distillery Botanica Central Coast now and let your creativity flow—because the perfect gin is the one you create yourself!
