Dinner In the Sky Opens for Vino Paradiso

Cool Sh*t, Eat, Play, Sydney / 15 November 2017

Take your next meal to new heights as Dinner in the Sky opens to the general public this weekend.

People travel from far and wide to experience Sydney’s stunning Harbour views. Now, you can nab the best seat in Sydney’s house, as Dinner in the Sky offers food lovers an (almost) out of this world experience.
Dinner in the Sky 2
In conjunction with the Vino Paradiso festival, from this Thursday until Sunday, Dinner in the Sky will be serving brunch, lunch and of course dinner to groups of 22 people at once, all whilst floating 50 metres above The Rocks.
If you fancy yourself a classy cocktail connoisseur, the dining experience will be holding it’s first cocktail sessions. High tea will also reach new heights with the High Tea in the Sky occurring in the afternoons.
Listed as one of Forbes most unusual dining experiences, Dinner in the Sky not only treats guests to an uninterrupted 360-degree view of Sydney, but a gourmet seasonally updated menu.
Vino Paradiso
If taking to the sky isn’t for you, then the remainder of Vino Paradiso’s events are sure to keep you grounded. On Saturday and Sunday, the food and wine festival will transform The Rocks into an oasis for lovers of food and wine. Over two days, Vino Paradiso will encourage guests to wander through over 100 stalls dedicated to showcasing the best produce and drops from New South Wales, Australia and beyond.
It wouldn’t be a wine paradise without the wine, and Vino Paradiso has plenty. Twenty five wine regions, including the Hunter Valley and Barossa Valley in South Australia, will be represented by the 55 wineries taking part in the event. The list of food exhibitors is equally as eclectic. From freshly shucked oysters by the Sydney Oyster Girls, to authentic Vietnamese from Mr Bao, and ultimate dude food from Burgers by Josh, there is something for every appetite.
