The Department of Legend & Myth (D.L.M.) Is Moving In On The Muggle World With A Month-long Pop Up on Sussex Street
The secret venue has been pulled straight from a fantasy realm, and preludes a much bigger chapter from The D.L.M. Hiding in plain sight…concealed behind the bureaucratic frontage of 300 Barangaroo Ave, on the Corner of Exchange Place, a unique fantasy world awaits. Promising ethereal surrounds, tempting tipples and quirky resident entertainers, the magical bar is all set to shimmer into existence Friday 27th May – Saturday 18th June.
Plunge into a fantastical realm of plush blue velvet and settle into a mythical cosmos. Sip on supernatural libations from Creativity Project, the cocktail company renowned for telling a tale with every sip. The beverage list is a mixture of fun and adventure. Cocktails include a range of Martinis using Hickson Rd gin and Mai Tais with Plantation rum. The D.L.M will also be stocked with Australian beer and sour beer from Lord Howe Island Brewing Co and Yalumba wines.
D.L.M have also lined up an out-of-this-world programme of entertainment. Every night the venue will showcase entertainers and musicians including; hip hop artist Kween G, dance icon bonetwister, rhythm and blues soul artist E.J, funk synth trio FOSHE, master magician Jackson Aces and many more. To fuel the festivities, D.L.M has partnered with Barangaroo’s favourite Japanese burger joint – Ume Burger. Expect delicious signature snacks including Kofi Fried Chicken – Tender pieces of marinated fried chicken coated in Ume’s special seasoning, delicious house-made kimchi and traditional Japanese pickles.
