Della Hyde Comedy Christmas Special – Monday 17th December
Della Hyde’s Comedy Night DOWN FOR GOOD LAUGHS is back with another side-splitting line up on Monday 17th December. Dishing up a monthly line up of some of Australia’s top stand-up comedians, guests are garanteed an evening of hilarity that will keep you chuckling all night long. The December line up includes the likes of Al Del Bene, Simon Bosco, Mike Eshaq, Ruven Govender, Lochlan Brooks and MC Kyle Legacy. Tickets are $10pp online, or $15pp on the door. Body Worlds Vital Exhibition, Sydney Town Hall
Curious to learn more about the intricate workings of the human body? In the first of its kind, Body Worlds Vital presents an exhibition featuring real human bodies. Launching on 3rd December and running until 31st March 2019 at Sydney Town Hall, head in this summer for an educational eye-opening experience. You’ll lay witness to the body’s interior through the visual display of donated human specimens. More than 150 anatomical specimens are on display – all of which have been donated for the benefit of public education and exhibition. Adult tickets are $32 each, and can be purchased here.
Christmas Shopping Night: The Streets of Barangaroo
Don’t leave your Christmas shopping to the last minute! The Streets of Barangaroo gets set to transform into a hive of festive activity on Thursday 13th December from 4-7pm, with Scotch Row hosting special festive offers, free flowing bubbles and live music. Gin Lane – Boozy Soft Serve Ice Cream
This summer, cool down at Kensington Street’s Gin Lane with a selected range of gin-inspired Soft Serves! Using cold press juices, natural sugars and a splash of booze, you can expect a one of a kind cocktail experience. Think ‘Soft Serve Negroni’ with Tanqueray Gin, Campari, Rosso and cold pressed lime, served in a black natural waffle cone with candied orange and a chocolate flake. Also on the menu is a ‘Southside’ soft serve, made using fresh and candied mint, or otherwise an “Aperol Spritz” Cone with mint, candied orange and popping candy.
Gin Lane’s Soft Serve Cocktail Bar will be open Monday to Wednesday from 4pm – 5pm and Thursday to Saturday from 2pm – 4pm. Gin Lane’s Soft Serve cones will be available for $10 each and cups priced at $8.

Saké Restaurant & Bar Double Bay gets set to host a long and lash rosé Champagne lunch, every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm. Your $199 includes two luxurious hours of Ruinart Rosé Champagne, accompanied with a selection of Sake’s signature sharing dishes. After three successful years of screenings, Mov’in Bed Outdoor Cinema is setting up shop in Moore Park’s Entertainment Quarter once more. Running from Friday 30th November until 17th February 2019, The Showring inside the Entertainment Quarter will house movie buffs and those who enjoy a night lazing in bed with a variety of films.
Fratelli Fresh Long table Christmas lunch: Saturday, 15 December
It’s been a big year of delicious events for Fratelli Fresh, and now they are getting set for the final Long Table Series of the year. Hosted at Fratelli’s Darling Harbour restaurant on Saturday 15th December, the sharing menu pays homage to the traditional Italian Christmas banquet. Known as the Feast of the Seven Fishes, the menu is designed to highlight Italy’s most delicious seafood specialities. The lunch is $79pp and includes an unlimited choice of Italian prosecco, beer, wine and Aperol spritz. Bookings can be made.
