Soar up to the 22nd floor of A by Adina Sydney, and you’ll see the world from a whole new perspective. Trot the globe one cocktail at a time via a theatrical cocktail list, each tantalising libation capturing the very essence of the country it’s inspired by.
Begin your mixology journey by reliving your summer in Santorini with the bold and bright Thera. Named after the Greek name for Santorini, Thera captures the mesmerising blue hue of the Cyclades-surrounding ocean. Blue Curaçao gives the libation its signature colour, while chamomile-infused gin, yuzu sake, falernum, lemon, grapefruit and an olive leaf gin foam unlock core flavour memories of a summer well spent.
Sip your way through a further 11 countries, discovering interesting corners of the globe through flavours and ingredients native to each cocktail’s origin of inspiration. The menu itself is presented as a concertina treasure map, inviting guests to discover a trove of liquid-form jewels.
If India has always been on your bucket list, make your first stop at the Taj Mahal. Served in a chai latte cup from a vintage teapot, this refreshing, milk-style punch has notes of mango and almond plus a gentle heat from the Bacardi Carta Blanca Rum.
Creating a cocktail that can match the awe of one of the seven wonders of the world is no mean feat, but Dean & Nancy have managed it with the unmissable Giza. Presented with a flurry of smoke, and served in a pyramid-inspired conical glass, the Giza combines Absolut Vodka, Mr Black Coffee Liqueur, Lagavulin 16yo Whisky, raspberry, hibiscus burnt honey and Sammy Junior Filter Coffee resulting in a bona fide showstopper.
