New Kid On The Double Bay Block Circa, Just Opened With A Boujee Brunch Club On Weekends

Eat, Sydney / 7 March 2022

The recently opened Circa Restaurant seamlessly transitions day drinks to late-night dinners set to the idyllic backdrop of shimmering Double Bay.

Circa is the new all-day, rosé-centric, indoor/outdoor dining experience set to become the new Double Bay favourite. With a front façade entirely open to the buzz of Knox St, there’s warm, welcoming energy and an abundance of natural light. Custom timber shutters and antiqued finishes bring swathes of sophistication to the striking space.

You’ll find space aplenty at this 80 seater with large groups being at the bedrock of the venue layout. The seating, for instance, is comprised of long banquettes and terrace-style booths for a truly convivial experience. Similarly, the food menu is centred around shareable plates that makes it oh-so-easy to try a little bit of everything.

Expect punchy seafood dishes centred around fresh, local and sustainable ingredients. Head Chef Andrea Bettini’s (Joe’s Restaurant London & Maio Restaurant Milan) menu showcases the perfect blend of Japanese & South-East Asian flavours with quality Australian produce as the centrepiece. The result is a mouthwatering menu of reimagined classics. Think Moreton Bay Bug Spring Rolls, a Wagyu Katzu Sando and Snow Crab Squid Ink Linguine all promise to establish themselves as classics on the menu.

Weekend Brunch Club is in full swing with the venue opening at 10.00am on Saturdays and Sundays. Kick-off the weekend with a feast of dishes and cocktails from a signature selection menu.

Dining is available in all areas of the venue, including the existing lounge bar. Circa Restaurant + Bar is located at 6/2-22 Knox St, Double Bay. Reservations can be made here
