Chica Bonita’s Head Chef is teaming up with some of Sydney’s top chefs for a new Taco Tuesday Dinner Series.
Chica Bonita are the kings of Mexican street eats and now their Taco Tuesday is ramping up a gear with the launch of a new weekly dinner series. Running from Tuesday 10th September through until October, Chica Bonita’s Head Chef, Alejandro Huerta, will share the kitchen with a special guest chef from leading Sydney restaurants each week, giving Chica’s signature taco menu a serious flavour shake up.
Punters can expect a Japanese twist on the Mexican classic as Chef Jack New of Icebergs enters the kitchen on Tuesday 10th September. Expect punchy flavour combinations like a pecorino taco with edamame and black garlic, and a wagyu tartare taco with anchovy and chilli.
The following week sees Taco Tuesday done with a plant-based twist, with Toby Wilson of Bad Hombres & The George Hotel making a special guest appearance in the kitchen.
Come Tuesday 24th September, Pablo Vargas of Carbon Bondi will co-front the pass, while 1st October promises Jason Staudt of Barangaroo House & Bea Restaurant.
The remainder of the October chefs will be released next month, so be sure to watch this space.
