A boozy one-day-only Brunch and Brush workshop is coming to Potts Point

Drink, Eat, Events, Sydney / 30 October 2019

Sip bottomless spritz and snack your way through a brunch grazing station while painting your own masterpiece at The Butler, Potts Point.

Catching up with your crew over brunch is one of Sydney’s favourite ways to spend the weekend. It’s a chance to say yes to sleeping in without missing out on your favourite brekkie dish. And there’s plenty of reason to hit the snooze button with more venues offering boozy brunch menus that extend late into the afternoon than ever before.

This month, step up your brunch game with this next exclusive one-day-only event. On Sunday November 17th, Potts Point’s The Butler will be hosting an intimate Brunch + Brush interactive workshop with renowned illustrator Sally Spratt of The Lust List. Gather your crew and flock to this sprawling garden terrace to spend the morning brushing up on your art skills (with a drink in hand, of course).

The Butler Brunch and Brush

The intimate session invites guests to create their very own lust list-inspired sketch and paint illustrations, guided every step of the way by Sally. Throughout the event, Sally will also be sharing her creative expertise with guests as she leads a discussion about how to turn your passion into a thriving career. As the creative behind The Lust List, an Instagram account she launched in 2013, Sally has been sharing her lifelike drawings of the luxe items she adores but can’t afford. From humble beginnings, Sally has grown to her page to over 128k followers.

Kicking off at 10:30 am, attendees will be treated to an Ibero-American brunch grazing station plus 2-hours of bottomless Lillet Spritz cocktails. Choose between four creative twists on Bordeaux’s oldest aperitif, from the traditional Lillet Spritz (Lillet Blanc, strawberry, cucumber, mint, tonic), the Passionfruit Spritz (Lillet Blanc, verjus, salted passionfruit, soda, rosemary), the Lillet Paloma (Lillet Rosé, grapefruit soda, basil) and the Lillet Sangria (Lillet Rouge, ginger beer, orange).
