Barzaari are jumping on the boozy brunch bandwagon, offering bottomless spritzes and a taste of the Mediterranean.

We’re all for a long and leisurely boozy brunch. So much so that we’ve compiled the ultimate guide on where to get your brunch n’ booze fix in Sydney. Now, adding some Mediterranean flare to the brunch scene is Barzaari Chippendale. Located within The Old Clare Hotel in the buzzing dining precinct that is Kensington Street, now you can get your spritz and scrambled egg fix in one, starting from Saturday 9th March.

Chef Darryl Martin has curated a menu of dishes that will take you on a journey from Cyprus to Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and beyond. Your feast will start with baked eggs complete with pastourma and haloumi and a mouth-watering mezze plate, before selecting from rainbow trout with chermoula and green chilli or spatchcock in vine leaf, gazan tomato salsa and toum. Punters are also treated to a range of sides; a slice of baklava adding the final sweet touch to your brunch date.

Now for the all-important spritzes and cocktails. The menu is complemented with the likes of the Strawberry Royal (strawberry puree, rose water, lime, freeze dried strawberry, prosecco), Jerusalem Lemonade (gin, orange blossom, blitzed mint, lemon, soda) and the Bitter Apricot (apricot brandy, Campari, annese, apricot pure, lemon, soda).

Inspired by the cultures from which Chef Martin cooks, the menu is served share-style, making it the perfect excuse to gather your crew.

Price: $75 pp includes two hours of bottomless spritzes + add an extra hour of spritzes for $30 per person.
