Freshwater’s 70s-inspired rooftop bar, Bombies, is shaking up Thursday nights with Nothing Set, a weekly dinner club where the menu is a mystery, the wines are natural and untamed, and the vibe is whatever the evening decides.
Perched atop the Harbord Hotel with sweeping ocean views and a surf-culture soul, Bombies has teamed up with natural wine mavericks Doom Juice to craft a weekly menu matched with their smashable, low-intervention drops. Soundtracking the night is Beat Mystique, a live improv band spinning hypnotic grooves and soulful jams in real time.
The surprise menu is set at $45 per person, and the first six tables each week snag a bottle of Doom Juice on the house.
