BOM: BaaOinkMoo Is Sydney’s Unique New Addition Korean BBQ

Eat, Restaurants, Sydney / 15 August 2022

BOM is redefining the late-night Korean BBQ experience with a contribution of dazzling proportions.

Now open in the heart of southwest Sydney’s Ed. Square, is a Korean BBQ experience like no other. To BOM, KBBQ is about more than smokey meat and Soju shots (although both of which play a key role), instead, the dining experience is built upon a total immersion of all the senses for a night out you won’t forget.

Diners will be able to drop it like it’s hot on a disco ball-lined dance floor, home to the ultimate Dance Battle and soundtracked to a line-up of the hottest DJs, live bands and even an occasional KPOP performance!

The dance floor isn’t the only thing sizzling. The loud selection of cook-it-yourself proteins feature a curated range of In-house Dry Aged Meats without the after-smoke smell. Think searing melt-in-your-mouth 5+ Wagyu cuts, Australian meat and fresh vegetables marinated with the soul of Korean food. You can also catch a serve of sliced-to-order Sashimi, delicious Soups and house-made Noodles.

BOM Korean BBQ

As well as the traditional Korean BBQ fare, the menu showcases an original must-try BOM Signature Fried Chicken. Choose from various coatings including sweet and spicy, snow cheese, garlic soy or the sweet, tangy and spicy, Gangjung Fried Chicken.

Between causing fires on the dance floor, quench your thirst at the Soju Bar where you’ll find an eclectic playlist of cheeky Korean-fused cocktails made of Soju including a refreshing Pixel Pink with Peach Soju, vodka and grapefruit juice or if Soju’s not your beverage of choice, perhaps try the KPOP Cooler made with Absolute vodka, blue curacao, grapefruit and lime juice.

“We’ve created something amazing, outlandish. We wanted to create an experience for our customers. From the moment you step off the escalators and into BOM you’ll be surrounded by neon lights, hundreds of mirror balls, pumping tunes and the delicious smell of perfectly seared meats. It’s loud, in your face, pure, fun. An arcade on overdrive.” – Bailey Wang (CFO, Chief Fun Operator)
