Black to Beaches – Manly Spirits Co. launches Espresso Martini Festival.
The Northern Beaches is getting set to transform into an espresso martini lovers dream as the launch of the inaugural Black to Beaches festival nears. With the talented crew at Manly Spirits Co. at the helm, the weekend-long event promises all things coffee and booze (two of our favourite things in life).
Landing in the sunny Northern Beaches at Manly Spirits Co.’s Distillery in Brookvale, you’ll want to block Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th March out in the calendar, as this is an event you won’t want to miss.
In celebration of the launch of their latest creation, Blackfin coffee liqueur, Manly Spirits Co. will spearhead a series of interactive masterclasses across the weekend. These will include an espresso martini making masterclass, a behind-the-scenes tour into how coffee liqueur is made with head distiller Tim Stones and a sensory immersion session with coffee roasters Seven Miles.
The fascinating and painstaking process involved in making Blackfin coffee liqueur (a key ingredient that goes into the beloved espresso martini) will be revealed. Guests will experience an insight into how the coffee beans are sourced, cold brewed for around 18 hours, then mixed into premium vodka with the native botanical Cinnamon Myrtle and sea minerals.
Not only this, a flight of unique cocktails will be prepared to taste the subtlety of coffee liqueur against different complimentary mixer flavour profiles.
To whet your appetite across the weekend, Manly’s latest addition to the food scene, Peanut Butter Jelly, has designed a menu especially for the event. Think coffee liqueur infused dishes to match the array of coffee inspired drinks. Espresso martini taco anyone?
Tickets are just $60 and include a cocktail on arrival in addition to a flight of coffee liqueur infused drinks, espresso martini and a mini bottle of all-new Manly Spirits Co. Blackfin Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur to take home valued at $20.
The ticket price is also inclusive of food by Peanut Butter Jelly, live music and all masterclass activities.
