Take A Staycation In The City – Here’s What The Eat Drink Play Team Do
Thanks to the team at ALL-Accor Live Limitless, we enjoyed a staycation at Pullman Sydney Hyde Park Hotel. This 5-star hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, offering contemporary accommodation with incredible views over Hyde Park and a rooftop pool to lap up! To begin our evening of fun we sat through a Gin Workshop at the Four Pillars laboratory in Surry Hills. We had a cocktail on arrival before discussing the history of the brand, the origins of gin and the distilling process, as well as taste testing the brand’s signature gins. For dinner, we discovered Sydney’s newest plant-predominant restaurant Maydanoz. The menu is inspired by the vegetarian-driven fare from the Aegean Turkish coast and is done by no other than chef and owner Somer Sivrioğlu (Anason, Efendy). After a glorious night’s sleep, we woke up and went straight to Bills in Surry Hills for Ricotta Hotcakes and Scrambled Eggs. This was followed by a wander through Surry Hills’ best vintage stores, and a coffee and croissant from none other than Single O in Surry Hills. If you ever needed a reminder to enjoy a staycation in our beautiful city, here it is!
