Fancy a staycation this Easter long weekend? Look no further than sunny Palm Beach.

Unless you’re living on the Beaches, a ‘quick’ trip to Palm Beach can prove tricky. Here to change the way you think about a visit to this sunny Northern Beaches nook is The Boathouse Group, who have announced the opening of brand new guest accommodation in the striking Barrenjoey House.

Opening to the public Tuesday 26th February, take your pick from one of seven luxe guest-house rooms, perched above the recently opened Barrenjoey House restaurant.

Reminiscent of The Boathouse restaurants, the guest rooms and shared areas will take its cues from relaxed beach houses. Think custom shell mirrors, patterned lampshades and coral. Artworks by local artists also feature throughout the restaurant and accommodation. Find something you love in your boutique room? The good news is that The Boathouse Home store in Palm Beach sells many of the interior pieces as featured at Barrenjoey House, including custom homewares.

“Upstairs has a bright and open feel, featuring welcoming interiors and landscaped gardens that we hope will create a relaxing Palm Beach getaway for couples or groups”, said Pip Goldsmith, Creative Director of The Boathouse Group.

Once you’ve checked into your accommodation, you’re a mere hop, skip and jump from the downstairs restaurant, which is open for both lunch or dinner. Lovers of the signature Boathouse offering can also visit The Boathouse Hotel Patonga, located across the water by the ferry.

“Whether staying overnight or for a long weekend, the location offers something for everyone. Barrenjoey House is unique as it is the only guest house in Palm Beach, offering an idyllic base for tourists, or an escape for locals who want to dine and stay in the one spot”, said Andrew Goldsmith, owner of The Boathouse Group.

Rooms start from $400 per night, and can be booked online by clicking here.
