Ashe Sydney, the Bentley Group’s Southeast Asian grill on Ash Street
Ashe Sydney is a contemporary Southeast Asian restaurant led by Executive Chef Khanh Nguyen, located on the corner of Angel Place and Ash Street in the CBD. The 80-seat restaurant brings together the bold flavours of Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia, centred around a dedicated clay oven and grill.
The menu is designed to share, showcasing premium Australian produce alongside Southeast Asian flavours. A shellfish plate runs through Sydney rock oysters, Abrolhos Island scallops and Yamba pippies, while the grill turns out king prawns with red curry, a blackened grouper cutlet, dry-aged Berkshire pork cutlet and pasture-raised rib eye. The dining room is full of energy and character, with a 30-seat private dining room available for group bookings and special occasions. From the team behind Bentley Restaurant and Bar, King Clarence and Eleven Barrack, Ashe carries the same confidence with a sharper Southeast Asian focus.
