Archie Rose Triple Smoked, the Sydney whisky event worth marking in your calendar

Archie Rose Triple Smoked is a one-night whisky event at Cell Block Theatre, National Art School in Darlinghurst on Thursday 17th July, and it is the first chance in Australia to taste Archie Rose’s new Triple Smoked Single Malt Whisky before its public release on 27th July.

The new Triple Smoked Single Malt has been more than a decade in the making, built around smoke at every stage of production. Smoked malt, smoked casks and smoked water, all using native Australian stringybark timber rather than Scottish peat, creating a distinctly Australian smoke profile. On the night, guests move through a series of immersive experiences centred on charcoal, flame, and smoke. Carolina Smoke handles the food, with pork belly burnt ends glazed in Archie Rose whisky and tomahawk steaks cooked over fire. Smoked cocktails and guided whisky tastings round out the evening. This is the inaugural event in what Archie Rose is positioning as an annual whisky festival platform.
