Get ready for a meal to remember, as cooking royalty Felice Lo Basso teams up with Davide Rebeccato at Aqua Dining for a special 6-course degustation dinner.
Head Chef Felice Lo Bass is no stranger to incredible flavour combinations, harnessing his refined cooking techniques and passion for great food. He fronts Felix Lo Bosso restaurant, located in the heart of Milan, and was awarded with a prestigious Michelin start in 2011. Now, he’s playing co-chef as part of a special collaborative dinner you won’t want to miss, teaming up with Aqua Dining’s Head Chef, Davide Rebeccato.
For one night only on Thursday 12th September, head to Aqua Dining and soak up the unrivalled views of Sydney Harbour, with a special Cucinare Insieme Dinner.
The two hospitality heavyweights have created a six-course menu to remember, honouring the diversity of Italian cuisine. The menu itself reads deceivingly simply, but you know it is anything but.
With the Harbour Bridge literally at your fingertips, you’ll start with scallops, seaweed butter, capers and black garlic. How very luxurious.
With your appetite suitably whetted, you enjoy other dishes like zucchini flower, spanner crab, ricotta and broad beans, followed on by tagliolini, basil pesto, prawns, green apple and burrata. Experimental flavour combinations carry through in the following courses with flounder, peanuts and red capsicum, followed on by a rich beef flank, salsify, oyster mushroom and Jerusalem artichoke.
As for dessert, diners are treated to not one but two, with strawberries, cream and yuku followed on by red wine blueberries, apricot ice cream, herbed granita.
Tickets to the Cucinare Insieme Dinner Series are $125 per person and includes the 6 course set menu. For those wanting matched wines, this is an additional $75 per person.
