Let your whisky loving alter ego out at an American Whisky Masterclass hosted by NOLA Smokehouse and Bar. Yee-ha!

Whisky enthusiasts and connoisseurs rejoice, NOLA Smokehouse and Bar in Sydney’s Barangaroo will be playing host to an exclusive American Whisky Masterclass. For one night only on Saturday 27th May, NOLA will impart their American Whisky knowledge as a part of The Streets of Barangaroo Masterclass Series.

NOLA Smokehouse and Bar only recently opened its doors, impressing patrons with its 500+ whisky offering. NOLA General Manager Pete Fischer explained to us on our most recent visit that “the range of spirits is growing so rapidly that we’ve been reprinting the list every week. Our bar staff are walking encyclopaedias and it makes sense to utilise their experience and passion for the products”

Are you a whisky lover or a beginner looking to widen your whisky horizons? Do you know the difference between sour mash, straight rye and bourbon? It doesn’t matter. That’s what NOLA has an American Whiskey Masterclass for! This intimate two-hour class takes you through a whisky wonderland, with some of the best American whisky on the market. The class will introduce you to this spirit, followed by 5 different American whisky tastings (from entry level to top-shelf quality). Keeping up the expectation of Southern hospitality, you will be treated to a selection of smokehouse snacks. Tipping off the two-hour whisky masterclass, NOLA will shake it up with a classic American cocktail.

Tickets cost $100 plus a booking fee, from 3pm till 5pm.
