Florence’s Famed Sandwich Shop, All’Antico Vinaio, Lands in Circular Quay

Florence’s famed sandwich shop All’Antico Vinaio opens at 50 Pitt Street, Circular Quay, on July 17, 2026, marking its first Australian outpost. The venue arrives with help from a local team that includes MasterChef judge and Three Blue Ducks co-owner Andy Allen. It will be open daily from 10am until 10pm, and, in line with every other All’Antico Vinaio location worldwide, is strictly takeaway only. Expect to find a park bench or the Circular Quay lawns to eat on.

The Florentine shop, which has been serving sandwiches for more than 30 years, earned its reputation for oversized, heavily stuffed schiacciata made with fresh Tuscan meats, cheeses, and artisanal spreads. Owner Tommaso “Tommy” Mazzanti has built a large social media following documenting the brand’s rise, and it’s since grown to over 50 locations worldwide
