Sydney’s immersive scene is about to get a serious shake-up with Alcotraz, an interactive cocktail experience arriving this October in Chippendale. Inspired by Hollywood’s most notorious prison stories, Alcotraz merges speakeasy-style drinks with actor-led storytelling, inviting guests to step into a world of crooked guards, bootlegging gangs, and secret escape plans.

Guests are issued their own inmate number and signature orange jumpsuit before entering a multi-room theatrical bar. From plotting escapes in the Warden’s Office to gaining favour with guards to unlock hidden areas, every participant becomes part of the unfolding story.
