It’s Back: A Month-Long Rosé Festival Returns To Barangaroo House

Bars, Drink, Sydney / 26 October 2020

Barangaroo House is turning pink this November for the Rosé Rising Festival.

If there was ever a season to drink copious quantities of rosé, spring would be it. With daylight savings around the corner, long balmy evenings are made to be enjoyed with a glass of pink in hand. Now in its third year, Barangaroo House is hosting Rosé Rising throughout November, a month-long festival to toast all things rosé.

Kicking off on November 5th, the festival is set to transform this three-story striking waterfront icon into a destination for pink drinking and dining. The venue has partnered with Moët Hennessy and their champagnes, Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart and Moët & Chandon to bring the pop-up event to life.

Get ready for unique art and light installations by Sydney artists Sam Whiteside and design-driven creative studio BABEKÜHL, Dinner a la Perspex creator and object fabricator Domus Vim, and multidisciplinary artist Beni Single. In fact, the experience will begin before you even enter the venue, with a minimalistic steel spire of monumental scale, projecting a pink glow to the building’s exterior, visible from kilometres away.

At Rosé Rising they’ll be magnums of Moët & Chandon Rosé, Ruinart Rosé NV or Veuve Cliquot Rosé NV at House Bar, BEA or Smoke respectively, paired with everyone’s favourite – a complimentary box of fries for each guest. Or, add a little luxe with half dozen Sydney rock oysters with a rosé mignonette accompanied by a 750ml bottle from $150.

Plus, each level of Barangaroo House will have unique rosé-inspired food and drink offerings, including:

  • House Bar: enjoy frosé, bagnums of rosé, rosé in a can, and rosé cocktails plus ‘Pink O’Clock’ from 4-6 pm daily.
  • BEA restaurant: enjoy their hugely popular Barangaroo Bounce experience continues on Saturdays and now has an optional bottomless rosé upgrade for $69 per person.
  • Smoke: head to the rooftop to sip through three specialty created rosécocktails, the Ruby Spritz, Rosé Highball and the Rosé Martini and larger-than-ever rosé wine list, best enjoyed on a sunny afternoon with a side of beats from Sydney’s best DJs.
