25hours Hotel Brings Its Signature Style to Sydney

Play / 14 August 2025

The countdown is on.

This spring, the heritage-listed West Olympia Theatre site will get a dazzling new chapter as 25hours Hotel The Olympia opens its doors, the first Australian outpost of the celebrated European brand. True to 25hours’ philosophy of embracing local culture, this 109-room boutique stay blends Sydney’s creative past with its cosmopolitan present, channelling the glamour of cinema’s golden age through playful, design-led storytelling.

Guests can choose between the dreamy calm of the “Dreamer” rooms or the moody, rebellious “Renegade” suites, all woven with cinematic nods and artistic details. The hotel will also debut four distinctive venues led by acclaimed Sydney chef Mitch Orr, from the Southern Europe–meets-Levant flavours of The Palomar to rooftop cocktails at Monica, coffee pitstops at Jacob The Angel, and intimate sips at The Mulwray. Positioned at the crossroads of Paddington, Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, Kings Cross and Moore Park, The Olympia is set to be a vibrant neighbourhood hub.
