Bondi Rescue’s very own Trent ‘Maxi’ Maxwell is swapping the lifeguard tower for the judging panel at Jetstar’s Surf Classic, returning to Bondi Beach this August with sun, surf, and serious prizes on the line.
The amateur surf comp hits the sand on Tuesday, 26th August, giving four lucky surf hopefuls from anywhere in Australia the chance to compete at Bondi in front of legends like Mark ‘Occy’ Occhilupo and Jesse Starling. The winner? A dream getaway for six to the Cook Islands, courtesy of Jetstar.
To enter, all you need to do is share a video on Instagram of yourself trying something new for the first time—surfing, skating, karaoke, you name it. Tag @jetstaraustralia and use the hashtag #JetstarSurfClassic2. You can also DM Jetstar or comment on their Facebook post to throw your hat in the ring.
Whether you’re paddling out or just cheering from the shoreline, this is one summer-style event worth marking down.
