Ribs and burgers, a perfect marriage
Ribs and Burgers is the latest eatery to land in Zetland, a buzzing hub packed with residential developments, shopping complexes and modern eateries.
This is their ninth store to open in NSW to date but don’t show the traits of a typical restaurant chain. They’ve successfully created a casual, boutique dining space with friendly, attentive hospitality.
On this particular Friday night there is a line streaming out the front door at 7pm with guests waiting to be seated. A good sign of things to come.
Take a seat at one of the rustic style wooden tables. If you’re a vegetarian, it’s not too late to leave.
Carnivores rejoice, you’ve come to the right place. Ribs and Burgers use grass-fed angus beef and meat that is antibiotic and hormone free. There is plenty of choice in the ribs department including beef BBQ, pork riblets and hot chilli lamb. Our favourite pick though, is the smoky BBQ pork spare ribs. The meat falls off the bone and, surprisingly, isn’t too messy.
Ribs and Burgers is a great place to dine with friends. The ribs are great but what’s even better is eating half a serve of ribs and also getting to taste their signature Original Burger. That way you really get the WHOLE Ribs and Burgers experience. You just need to convince a friend to share with you.
Unfortunately, fries are only served with ribs so you have to buy them on the side with your burger. It is worth it since these chips are thick, crunchy and damn good. While you’re there you’ve also got to try the onion rings. They’re a great accompaniment to the burgers and the ribs.
If you haven’t been to Zetland in a while things are changing and Ribs and Burgers is just another reason to check it out.
