This winter, Fargo & Co., located in the historic Swan Street building that was once a bank in 1907, is hosting the Heist of the Century, with an environment enriched by vivid, eye-catching jewel-themed installations.
True to its bank-building heritage, Fargo & Co.’s setting mirrors a spectacular heist scene. Your fabulous hostess, Bonnie, has “lifted” a collection of glittering jewels which now bedeck the premises, adding a touch of glamour and intrigue to your visit. The large, freestanding multi-coloured, mirrored prisms, coupled with hanging diamonds, brilliantly reflect the venue’s soft, warm light, creating the perfect backdrop for those photo ops that make Instagram feeds glow.
To complement the dazzling ambience, Fargo & Co. has crafted a series of special cocktails to accompany their already legendary Bottomless Brunch, which has received a ‘Heist of the Century’ makeover for the winter. The menu boasts cocktails such as Clarity, a sparkling tequila blend; Cut, a gin-based refresher; Brilliance, a bubbly and colourful Smirnoff cocktail; and Hue, a hibiscus-infused gin tipple.
Served from noon and 3pm every Saturday and Sunday, brunch at Fargo & Co. includes a choice from six winter menu items. With options ranging from House Bacon Waffles (teamed with fried chicken, caviar, hot honey, and smoked butter) to the Mc Muff (a comforting stack of barramundi bacon, English muffin, cheddar, soft egg, caviar hollandaise and salt bush hash brown) and the Chook Roll (a hearty serving of roast chicken, stuffing, chicken gravy, potato cake with rooster salt), there’s a dish to satisfy every craving.
The $75 Saturday and $70 Sunday brunch also offer bottomless mimosas, house wines, beers, and seasonal Heist Cocktail jugs. For a sweet, sparkling twist, fairy floss can be added to the beverages for an extra $5pp. Music fans will appreciate the resident DJs spinning tracks every Saturday to enhance the lively atmosphere.
