Tea lovers rejoice, Melbourne Tea Festival is back!
Following the success of last year’s event, the Melbourne Tea Festival is back! For one day only on Saturday 20th May at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, tea lovers are invited to discover, experience and connect with specialty teas from all across the globe. This year’s event is set to be bigger and better than ever, with an expanded tea market, a fresh line-up of workshops and ‘Tea with a Stranger’.
At the tea market, taste some of the best specialty loose-leaf tea and herbal tisanes the country has to offer. Think aromatic ‘wet’ chai, single-origin and rare teas, therapeutic herbal blends, matcha green tea and kombucha on tap.
Fancy yourself a connoisseur of flavour? New to the tea festival will be a ‘do it yourself’ blending station where you’re able to create your own custom blend, with tea, flowers, spices, fruit and herbs.
If you’re looking to delve a little deeper into the world of tea, a series of ticketed workshops are also available. Hosted by leading industry specialists, each session is set to educate you further. Sessions include:
